Story:
Soay
is part of the extraordinary, remote St Kilda archipelago in the far Outer
Hebrides of Scotland.
Uninhabited
Soay is a wild and idyllic hone for hundreds of Soay sheep, a small and hardy
rare breed of sheep that is native to the island. These Soay sheep survive
around the highest sea-cliffs in the British Isles.
The
spectacular St Kilda Island are 40 miles further out to sea than North Uist,
which itself is remote from the mainland of Scotland. St Kilda’s unique
landscape is protected as a World Heritage Site.
